1, The word "Mounam" in the last line of the poem cannot be exactly translated as restraint. The word conveys a certain sense of silence, but does not exactly mean lack of sound. In excercising "mounam" the person also excersises his or her own will. The word can also connote a sense of an unwillingness to "act" and is much more pregnant in meaning than silence.
